As an artist who is focused on capturing the feelings and emotions of unique locations, I produce many commissioned paintings. It is always an honor to paint a location that is meaningful.

I like to travel and see the site first hand when feasible, and I am also happy to work from photographs. However, some buildings, people and locations exist only in memories. These are some of the most important paintings I have the honor of creating; working to produce an image that embodies the images and feelings of a place that exists in another time.

We do not need to meet in person, I often paint locations from afar and ship the painting to its new home. Shipping is available worldwide.

Scale

All paintings are produced on sturdy wood panels, that are constructed to specifications. Any size is possible. Paintings larger than 12 feet are constructed in sections that are assembled onsite.

The Process

Commissioned paintings start at $4000 and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Pricing is determined based on the size and intricacy of the piece, and what sort of development process will be required.

The creative process is collaborative, and typically follows this sequence:

• Meet and discuss the concept
• Visit and / or review available images of the location
• Consider the emotional and historical weight the site carries
• Sketches, studies, mockups
• Approved composition
• 6-12 weeks production time
• final delivery
